

Maykowski, Henry, 95, a longtime resident of Roseville, died Thursday, May 9, 2013, with his family at his side. Henry is survived by his children, Marcus (Annie) Stanford of Spain, Lawrence, Marcia & Carol Maykowski. Grandfather to Chad and Marc Maykowski, Simon (Karen) Stanford, and great-grandfather of Millie and Katie Stanford of England. Beloved family pet, "Hope," will miss her Grandpa very much. Henry was predeceased by his loving wife of 32 years, Helen (nee; Pacler), and his daughter, Shirley Maykowski. Born November 19, 1917, to the late Albert and Rose (nee: Milewski) Maykowski in PA. He is 1 of 13 children. Surviving siblings; brother, Chester of SC, sisters, Helen Kocholek, Florence Mills, Delores Patrizi of PA, and Sophie (Walter) Dresel of CA. He is survived by sister-in-laws, Irma (Stanley) and Phyllis (William) Maykowski of PA. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers, Edward (Mary) of OH, Stanley, Jerry (Charlene), and William of PA, Leo (Virginia) of MI, and sisters, Edna (August) Staunch and Jenny (Paul) Getway of PA. Also important in his life, preceding him in death, were brother-in-laws, Louis (Helen) Kocholek, Edward Kocholek, Archie (Florence) Mills, James (Delores) Patrizi, and sister-in-law, Sophie (Chester) Maykowski. Also predeceased by his wife's brother, John Pacler (whose wife, Agnes survives him), sister and brother-in-law, Virginia & Harry Gieraltowski, and surviving brother and sister-in-law, Leonard & Helen Pacler. Visitation will be Monday, May 13, 2013, from 2-9pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ½ Mile Rd) in Warren, MI. His Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at 11:00am at the funeral home. Henry served with the United States Army in World War II and will be honored with a Veterans service at Resurrection Cemetery located on Clinton River Road in Clinton Township, MI.
