Dear Uncle Ed, I only had one favorite uncle and that was you. I thank you for all your kindness and caring you shown throughout the years. i remember when we were kids you would always give us your pocket change so we could go to the store and buy candy. I always enjoyed when i would go to virginia with you and the girls. So all my memories of you, will always be in my heart.

My Gramps was a devoted family man. He was a man of integrity. I enjoyed talking his ear off on our trips to the battery shop in Flat Rock, MI. He would always take us to get his newspaper and get us a slurpee. A lot is my memories of my grandpa are of him standing next to a car with the hood up. "Sherri, you can run out of water but never run out of oil." I love you so much. I will miss you.

Father, I will miss you and I love you very much. You lived a beautiful life and you gave us everything we needed. I will miss our trips and talks, you know you were my best friend. Daddy just to let you know your spirit lives on in all of us. I see you in my Sisters and all your grandchildren especially in my Son's Michael and Matthew they will miss you so much. You go and enjoy your new home in heaven and we will finish our journey here and we will be together again. It is what you left behind that counts we will go on you taught us that and for that we will be forever grateful to you so long Father until I join you. I love you Dad.....

Dad, you were the kindest, most even-tempered, nonjudgmental, grounded person I've ever known. When you could still drive, you made it a point to go to all of your kids' houses almost daily to see your grandkids, have a cup of coffee or a Mountain Dew, and tell us a story or two. You never wanted anything other than to visit. There isn't a person who has known you, that didn't respect and admire you. Especially in your passing, do we realize exactly what kind of a man you were, and we are so blessed to have had our time with you. We will miss you. I love you Dad.

To Shirley , all of his children and grandchildren deepest thoughts and prayers go out to all of you . May God give you comfort in this difficult time. May God Bless you all. Ed was a very special brother in so many ways . When he brought all of the children in to see all of us back in Virginia . There was never a moment that he did'nt take the time for all of us. I can remember the summers of all the years that he would load all of kids up in the car, sometimes there would be 10-15 kids. to go to the August meeting , the wagon train , R.J camp ground, swimming on the river. Ed always loving ever moment .When Ed came home ,you knew that you were on Vacation. He loved children and family.Always remember when you all would leave , I would cry cause I did'nt want you all to go. I want to thank you my brother for making my summer threw out my life time as a young child very memorable. Rest in peace my brother , you will be missed very deeply . R.I.P. Grandpa! You were the most generous, giving, loving grandpa and man that I will ever know. Your stories will live one when I repeat them to everyone I know. There was never a silent moment with you and you never missed a baseball/softball game and I love you for all you've taught me. Heaven has just gotten better because you are there. Look over us all and we will see you again. Love always you jitterbug jen.
