Ida L. Alexander, age 95, of Sterling Heights, Michigan passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2022. Ida was born on November 26, 1926, in Troy, Alabama to the late Zack and the late Ada McLendon. Cherished mother of Patricia (Harold) Thompson, Richard (Janet) Alexander, and Larry (Brenda) Alexander; loving grandmother of Tony (Jill) Thompson, Steve (Betty) Thompson, Mike (Shannon) Alexander, Brian (Sunju) Alexander, Shannon Alexander, Erin Alexander, Tricia (Jeff) Hymerick, Kim Alexander, James (Keyonna) Alexander, Melissa (Billy) Neckrock, Ron Alexander, Jim (Crystal) Alexander, and Jeff (Lisa) Alexander; great-grandmother of 18; great-great-grandmother of 8; and dear aunt of Faye and Fred McLendon. Ida was preceded in death by her parents: Zack and Ada McLendon; her husband: James Alexander; and her son: Clarence (Ruth) Alexander.
A memorial visitation for Ida will be held Sunday, November 6, 2022, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at D.S. Temrowski and Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road, Warren, Michigan 48093, followed by a memorial service at 6:00 PM.
