Il Sim was born and raised in South Korea. She was proud to be naturalized as an American on October 16, 1987. She loved animals, especially her dogs Cookie, Chasta, Choopy, Ivan, and Sushi.
Il Sim is the beloved wife of 42 years to Kenny Ritchey. Dear sister to Ahn Byoung Tae, Ahn Byoung Mun and sister in law to Karla Lovachy and Shirley (Michael) Aronson. She is preceded in death by her parents An Sam Chil and Pak Ssi.
A committal service for Il Sim will be held Friday, August 4, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Resurrection Cemetery, 18201 Clinton River Rd, Clinton Township, Michigan.
