Always the social butterfly, she had an outgoing personality that touched the lives of many and created a storehouse of memories that will be cherished forever. She was definitely a people-person and loved hosting parties,...especially the Pool Party Extravaganza's in her own backyard. Her children recall what a fun time they were, and at times quite provocative. On a hot summer day, there was no greater place to be than enjoying a splashing, good time at Irene's pool. For this good Polish girl who was married to a good Polish guy, some of her fondest memories were those woven around the dance floor in the arms of her beloved, Bruno. Together, the two of them could cut-a-rug with the best of them, and the Polka was their specialty. They truly enjoyed their Polka parties over the years, and forged many wonderful friendships in the process.Another of Irene's favorite pastimes were wrapped around the fun and challenge of "card night" with friends, where there was always a rousing game of Michigan Rummy taking place. Her other gaming delights included the ever-popular games of Bingo, Euchre, and Dominos. But it really didn't matter what she was playing,...it was more about who she was surrounded by. Friendship meant the world to Irene and she spent her lifetime nurturing those precious bonds. Of course, for as much as she treasured her friends, there was none more valued in life than her beloved family. With three beautiful children and a host of adoring grandchildren, Irene's greatest joy in life was realized in each of these relationships and the countless blessings they provided. Along with sharing the beauty of her soul, Irene also helped to bring beauty to the appearance of many through her skills as a beautician.
