Isabel "Mary" Rahn

Beloved wife of the late Harry Rahn III, Mary was the cherished mother of the late Harry IV (Tina) Rahn, the late Karen (Dave) Dotto, Jenny Kuhfal, and Jim (Patty) Rahn. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Ashley, Ted, Devin, Kyle, Amanda, Jordan, and Joshua, and a loving great-grandmother to Violet and William.

Mary was the dear sister of Lucy and Ralph, and was preceded in death by her siblings Josie, Alisa, Louis, Joseph, John, and Victor. She also mourned the loss of her dearest friend of over 60 years, Laurie, whose memory she held close to her heart.

Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, Mary spent a few years in the Bronx before settling with her family in Michigan at the age of 14. She built a life rooted in love, hard work, and devotion to family. Mary spent over 30 years working at the K-Mart on Groesbeck and 15 Mile, where she retired as the supervisor of ladies wear.

Mary found joy in the simple pleasures of life — playing bingo, bowling, shopping (especially for clothes), reading, and taking countless memorable trips with Laurie. Her warm spirit, sharp sense of humor, and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Visitation at the Warren location of A.H. Peters Funeral Home on Friday, August 22, beginning at 1pm until time of service at 6pm.
