Janice Von Itter was a mom, a daughter, a wife, a sister, a grandma (and great grandma), an aunt, a switchboard operator, a high school sweetheart (even if it was Ray’s last day of high school when they met), a seamstress, a traveler, a musician, an avid reader, and a great friend. She fit a lot of life into her 90 years, and memories of that life will be fondly remembered by her loved ones. Memories of holiday meals, summer trips to the cottage and later, winter trips to Florida, homemade Barbie clothes, shopping trips at Bealls, visiting out-of-state relatives, and too many card games to count. She will be dearly missed and those who knew her are grateful for their time with her.
Janice was the beloved wife of the late Raymond. Loving mother of Raymond Von Itter, Cheryl (the late Doug) Ford, Maureen (Bruce) Smith, Dennis, Dale, and the late Robert. Cherished grandmother of Matthew Von Itter, Janice (Justin) Miller, Claire (Alex) Kirsch, Megan (Jeremy) Vinyard, Dustin (Kari) Von Itter, and Tyler Von Itter. Adored great-grandmother of Wyatt, Hazel, Josie, Averi, Samuel, and Maxwell. Dear sister of the late Earl Rue.
Arrangements entrusted to the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home in Warren.
