Jessie Theresa Grzelka

Jessie Theresa Grzelka (nee: Ziolkowski), died Monday, September 29, 2008 at the age of 90 at the Shelby Nursing Center in Shelby Township, Michigan. Mrs. Grzelka was born June 26, 1918, in Detroit, Michigan. She was the daughter to the late Stanley Ziolkowski and the late Pelagia (nee: Kmiec) Ziolkowski. She is the beloved mother of Ronald (Barbara) Grzelka. Loving grandmother of Brad (Nikki) Grzelka, and Dawn (Aaron) Klepinger. Devoted great-grandmother of Hunter, and Jessie Claire. She was also the special aunt of Denise Hoffman. She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Clarence Grzelka. Jessie loved to keep herself busy with many little hobbies. Some of her favorite things to do were reading, sewing, designing hats, cooking, and keeping her house spotless. She treasured time with her grandchildren above everything else. Mrs. Grzelka will lie in state on Saturday St. Theresa of Avila, St. Dorothy Campus at 9:30 am until the time of the funeral mass at 10:00 am. Officiating the funeral liturgy will be the Rev. Father Thomas Puzio. The arrangements were entrusted to the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 Mile).
