John G. Devereaux, 74, a 48-year resident of Warren, formerly of Detroit, died Thursday, April 6, 2006, at his home. He was born in 1931 in Detroit. Mr. Devereaux was a veteran of the U.S. Army and enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, the outdoors, camping and traveling to Las Vegas, Nevada and Frankenmuth. He also enjoyed watching tv, dining out and spending as much time as possible with his family. Mr. Devereaux is survived by his wife, Georgina; daughter, Deborah Hawk; granddaughter, Megan; siblings, Thomas (Leona) Bush and Carolee Grunalt and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Ronald Bush. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at D.S. Temrowski and Sons Funeral Home, 20009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Road), Warren. Visitation will be held 5-9:00 p.m. Sunday
