Joe was born and raised in New Mexico with his 12 siblings. He went on to honorably serve in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War while stationed in North Africa. Joe attended Lawrence Technical Institute and eventually worked as an electrician for GM and Ford Motor Company until his retirement. Joe spent most of his retirement with his wife Joyce, traveling to their winter home in Sarasota, Florida. While in Florida, Joe enjoyed volunteering his time helping the Habitat for Humanity for 17 years. He was an avid bocce ball player and loved to read. Joe loved being around people and would talk to anyone. He was very giving of himself and loved his family more than anything. Joe will be missed immensely by his family and friends.
Joe was the beloved husband of Joyce. Loving step-father of Steve (Vera) Brooks. Cherished grandfather of Steven (Maricris) Brooks. Adored great-grandfather of Jacob, Olivia, and Wyatt Brooks. Dear brother of Marion Tuttle, Bertha Mololina, and Rosalie Sideroff. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements entrusted to the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home in Warren, Michigan.
