Joseph Silvio Zanetti

Joseph Silvio Zanetti, age 87, of Sterling Heights, Michigan passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 4, 2025. Joseph was born on November 29, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan to Italian immigrant parents, Silvio and Speranza Zanetti. He spent many years of his working life in the floral industry. Joe enjoyed fishing, bowling and was an avid lotto player who never missed a daily drawing at 7:30pm. More than anything though, Joe enjoyed spending time with his family. He was constantly surrounded by one of his 5 children, 9 grandchildren, or 14 great-grandchildren. He always enjoyed a spirited card game or Friday night Smackdown.

He leaves behind his children Theresa (Walter) Szczubialka, Gary (Linda) Zanetti, Marie (Richard) Victor, Joan (Mike Gulaszewski) Zanetti, his 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and countless friends and family.

He is preceded in death by his parents Silvio and Speranza Zanetti, his sisters Clara Sadocha and Elsie Dickty, and his son Anthony Zanetti.
