Josephine Biafore

Josephine Rose Biafore, age 98, of Warren, Michigan, passed away on December 17, 2022. Josephine was born on October 12, 1924, in Utica, New York, to her loving parents Sebastian and Virginia Fruciano.

Josephine married her husband Samuel in 1951. They moved to California in 1959 but moved back to Michigan after only a year when she became homesick for her family. They lived with their family until their house in Warren was built in 1964. That same house has remained the family home to this day. Family meant the world to her and she loved spending time with them. She would cook them their favorite meals and her famous spaghetti dinner. After retiring from Chrysler after 25 years of hard work she was able to spend more time with her husband. They used this time to travel together on many different cruises. She loved to travel and one of her favorite trips was to Las Vegas. She loved going to the casinos and playing the slot machines. While relaxing at home she would watch her favorite game shows and work on crossword puzzles. Christmas was the most beautiful holiday at her house. She would have the whole family over, there would be tons of presents under the tree, everything would be decorated perfectly and she would cook a delicious prime rib. Josephine was beautiful inside and out. She loved to make everyone laugh with her amazing sense of humor and was always dressed up and looking her best, usually in her favorite color royal blue. She was incredibly generous and would go out of her way to helping anyone in need.

Josephine is the beloved wife of 60 years of the late Samuel Biafore. The loving mother of Virginia (Jerry) Dombrowski and Gloria (the late Mark) Ackerman. Cherished grandmother of Lori (Kurt) Mitschke, Gina (Dale) Beito, Brian Ackerman and Jeffrey Ackerman. Treasured great grandmother of Ryan Buchacz, Rachel Buchacz, Erica Mitschke, and Matthew Mitschke. She is preceded in death by her siblings Joe, Carman, Dominick, and Jenny.

A visitation for Josephine will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd, Warren, Michigan 48088. An instate will occur Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 11:30 AM until the time of the service at 12:00 PM, 32000 Schoenherr Rd, Warren, Michigan 48088.
