Josephine Katherine Ciaglo

Josephine Katherine Ciaglo, a glorious 101 years of age, died Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was a Christmas baby, born December 25, 1918 in Port Austin, Michigan, daughter of the late Anthony and the late Catherine (nee: Gornowicz) Goretski.

Josephine was the beloved wife of the late Norbert Lee Ciaglo who preceded her in death on October 7, 1993. She was the dearest mother of Donna (the late Ted) Mouzourakis, Carol (the late Donald) Hodinka, Gregory Ciaglo, Janice Ciaglo, Elizabeth Ciaglo, Eric (Brigitte) Ciaglo, Susanne Russo, Carl (Yolanda) Ciaglo, and Tina (Jim) Ritts. Loving grandmother of Lora (Sean) Gray, Renee (Jim) Cotter, Mia Schrader, Emanuel Mouzourakis, Mary Mouzourakis, Joanna (Mike) Dak, Anthony Mouzourakis, Michael (Kara) McCauley, David McCauley, Kelly (Michael) Crook, Donald Hodinka, Jason (Emily) Ciaglo, Elizabeth Gilbeau, Rebecca Ciaglo, Matthew Ciaglo, Jessica Delduca, Lauren Ciaglo, Alexandra Ciaglo, Benjamin Ciaglo, Stephen Russo, Jeffrey Russo, Kristen Russo, Aaron (Valerie) Ciaglo, Cara Ciaglo, Zachery Ritts, Katie Ritts, and great-grandmother of Ashley, Joshua G., Jimmy, Jack Athena, Helena, Nicholas, Joseph, Hassan, Noelle, Isabella, Joshua C., Anna Mei, Teresa, John, Daniel, Zavier, Celia, Natassia, and Caia. Sister of the late Sylvester Goretski, and the late Robert Goretski.

Visitation for Josephine will be held Friday, February 28th from 3-9 pm, with a 7 pm Rosary Service, at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ½ Mile Rd) in Warren.

She will lie in state on Saturday from 10:30 am until time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 31555 Hoover Road in Warren. Officiating the funeral liturgy will be Rev. Fr. Nick Zukowski.

Burial will take place at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Port Austin, Michigan.
