Julius Ward Lowery

Born in Pembrook, North Carolina to the late Woodrow and Daisy Lowery, Julius was a proud member of the Lumbee Tribe. Julius lived the majority of his life in Michigan working and retired from Ford Motor Company of Sterling Heights. In his free time, he loved woodworking and fishing, but his grandkids were his life. Julius loved to spend time with his family and was a proud father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Loving husband of the late Margaret for 40 years. Caring father of Colleen (William) Burge, Brian (Michelle) Lowery, and Arlita (Richard) Sawicki. Beloved grandfather of Angelita Aiello, Robert Woolman, Donny (Melissa) Aiello, Camie (Jayson) Belcher, Kaylee Dugger, Kylie Dugger, Caleb Dugger, and Amlya Sawicki. Cherished great-grandfather of Peyton Woolman, Damian Woolman, Cainan Clements, Benjamin Belcher, Lincoln Brooks, and Myer Dugger.

Visitation Wednesday, March 10th from 2 until 9pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home in Warren. Funeral Service Thursday at 11am at Faith Baptist Church, 26510 Schoenherr Road in Warren.
