Karen Lillian Henson

Karen Lillian Henson passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on October 19th, 2016. She was born July 22nd, 1945 and was a resident of Sterling Heights. She loved spending time with her family and her beloved dog, Tara Rose. She is survived by her children Debbie (Chris Stein) Henson, Denise Macey, Tracey (Mike) Megill, and Richard Henson, Michael Hill and Matthew Hill, sister Donna Wheaton, Beloved aunt of Tim (Christy) Wheaton and Tony (Shana) Wheaton, daughter in law Desiree Henson and dear friends Florence Bryeans and Dolores Bedford.Beloved grandmother to Megan (Justin Schocke) Johnson, Kayla (James) Blake, Paige (Anthony Caiozzo) Johnson, Lindsey (Clayton Rinker) Johnson, Gary (Stephanie Beals) Johnson, Katie (Adrian) Kesner, Nicole (Kori Sheffield) Burgett, Elaina (TJ) Foley, Leslie (Carly Dawson) Burgett, Ashley (Mike Vitale) Bedford, Melissa (Jonathan) Zolp, Harold (Jessica McFarland) Bedford, Christian & Jamison Henson, Justin Bedford.Great grandmother to Isabella, Fallyn, James, Ayden, Braydon, Carter, Adalyn, Devon, Nathan, Mason, Avery, Jonathan, Colton, Gabriella, Conner, Harold, Evie & Albert.Also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.She is preceded in death by her parents, Beverly & Kenneth Ruppenthal, niece Tina Cunningham, grandson Bow Conner, and son-in-law Wayne Macey and former son in law Harold Bedford.Special thank you to everyone at Grace Hospice of Marysville. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4:00 pm until the time of Karen's funeral service at 6:30 pm at the D.S.
