Kathy was one of the first people I met at Meadowbrook Hall. She was the captain the first time I volunteered as a hostess and made me feel so comfortable as I was learning. She subsequently was almost always the captain for whenever I volunteered. She was a very sweet person who was considerate of the needs of others. Her thoughtfulness and kindness will always be remembered and her presence truly missed. My deepest condolences to the entire Wilson family.

Condolences to entire family. I met her in mid sixties at work after returning from Air Force. She and family were very hospitable to small town Iowa boy finding his way in big city. Enjoyed watching her brother play semi pro football in Pontiac. Nice family. Sympathy to husband and future generations. I just tried google after all these years and was shocked and saddened. It was nice to hear about her friends, family, and teaching career. A life well lived. A privilege to have briefly known her. I left Detroit in 1967. One enjoyable memory was touch football in family yard with little brothers. And their small backyard pool in Centerline.

It is difficult to describe someone who touched all of the lives of the people that surrounded them. Kathy was beyond an extraordinary woman. She was tough, exquisite, and one of the most giving people I have ever had the privilege of knowing, not to mention her style was timeless and classic. She leaves a big hole in a lot of hearts and I hope she knows the love that has poured out for her and her family in the past week. Christmas Eve celebrations will be different, but I know she will be there in spirit raising her glass. The world lost an amazing woman and anyone who knew her was incredibly lucky. Until we meet again.<3

On behalf of the Capuchin brothers I offer my deepest sympathies on the passing of Kathleen. It is truly humbling to receive memorial donations in honor of her life. Please be assured of the brother's prayers for the entire Wilson family during this great time of grief. I have placed Kathleen's name at the tomb of Blessed Solanus Casey. May perpetual light shine upon Kathleen.

Honored to have called her godmother and aunt. So many memories not sure how I could choose one. Will always remember sledding down "the hill" and ramming into her air conditioner and allowing us to continue to do so, her love (well the entire Schott family's love) for ice cream, cruising in her red Mercedes, and picking out random things from the basement that now became my treasure and of course Arthur was often along for the ride. You were a one of kind, kind of person and you will be missed.

I was sorry to hear of Kathy’s passing. I taught at Harwood across the hall from Kathy. There are lots of memories of her, but one of my favorites is every year she would get such great delight in reading the Polar Express to her children.
We always enjoyed catching up at our hardwood monthly luncheons after we retired.
Rest in peace Kathy. You will be missed.
