Mimi was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, love for family, and a passion for life.
Mimi was a true "work-a-holic," with a career that spanned multiple industries. She began working at the age of 16 at Butler Shoes, then went on to work in the auto industry and later served as a dental office manager. Most recently, she was the construction site office manager for Gallagher-Kaiser, where she was respected for her dedication and precision.
Her family meant everything to her. Mimi was a devoted mother to her son and cherished grandmother to her grandkids, often spending quality time with them. She shared a special bond with her sisters and daughter-in-law, and was deeply connected to her extended family. Mimi and her husband Scott had known each other for 41 years, celebrating 25 years of marriage, and they shared a love and partnership that endured through all of life’s ups and downs.
Mimi had an unwavering love for animals, particularly her dog, Abby. She was a passionate fan of Elvis Presley and Motown music, filling her home with the sounds of her favorite tunes. A lover of order and cleanliness, Mimi took pride in maintaining a tidy home. She was a big fan of Pepsi, often enjoying a cold bottle as part of her daily routine.
Known for her strong personality, Mimi was a stickler for details and standards, but it was her warmth and welcoming nature that drew people to her. Her determination and hardworking spirit left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her. Mimi’s presence will be deeply missed, but her love for her family and her indomitable spirit will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Mimi was the beloved wife of Scott Stevens. Loving mother of Jason (Jennifer) Hamden. Adored grandmother of Domonic and Nathan "Nate". Dear sister of Laurie (Rick) Depanicis, Patti Hatfield, Kenneth (Sandy) Harper, and Jamie Harper. Special fur-mom to her dog Abby Loulou. Also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her dog Princie and her cat Harley.
Visitation for Mimi will be held on Wednesday, January 15th from 3-8pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road in Warren. Funeral Service Thursday at 10:30am at the Funeral Home.
