Ken was the beloved husband of Amy for 32 wonderful years and a proud and devoted father to Kyle and Emily. He was a dear brother to Carol, Gary (Kathy), and the late Ronald “Buddy.” Ken was also a loving uncle to Amy (Jeff), Steven, Bryan, Charleton (Zoey), and Grace, and a cherished great-uncle to Addisyn, Makena, Brooklyn, Ellington, and William.
Ken found great joy in the outdoors throughout his life. He especially treasured time spent fishing with his brother, Gary, aboard their father’s boat, creating memories that would last a lifetime. Ken worked a variety of jobs over the years, including serving as security at Detroit Tigers games, where he enjoyed being part of the excitement and camaraderie of the ballpark.
Later in life, Ken embraced a new chapter by attending culinary school and fulfilling his passion for cooking and baking as a chef. He especially loved sharing his gift for baking with his daughter, Emily, creating not only delicious treats but treasured moments together.
A lifelong and devout Lutheran, Ken’s faith was a guiding force throughout his life. He faithfully shared that love of God with his family, and together they were devoted members of St. Mark Lutheran Church.
Ken will be remembered for his gentle spirit, unwavering faith, love of family, and the warmth he brought to those around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
The family would like to thank the staff at Wellbridge of Romeo for the gracious care and support that they provided for Ken.
