Kevin Jerome Strong

Kevin Jerome Strong, age 51, died suddenly Thursday, April 27, 2017 at his home in Warren. Kevin was born October 29, 1965 in Detroit to Jerome George and Kathy Jo (nee Golec) Strong.Kevin would graduate from high school and shortly thereafter meet his future bride, Terry Lynn Moritz on a blind date set up by Terry's best friend. The blind date turned into true love and the two married on October 17, 1992 at St. Justin's Catholic Church in Hazel Park. The marriage produced and welcomed two beautiful children, Ashley and Ryan, who were Kevin's pride and joy.Kevin was employed by Chrysler Motors as an assemblyman. When Kevin was not working he enjoyed the outdoors...one on his favorite outdoor tasks was mowing the lawn. He was an avid sports fan, listening to baseball whenever he was able on the radio. Kevin was a huge football fan, but he just could not bring himself to cheer for our hometown, Detroit Lions. Another of Kevin's passions was good, old-fashioned rock n' roll music,...Led Zeppelin topped his personal chart of favorite bands.Kevin leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Terry Lynn Strong; his two children, Ashley Kathleen and Ryan Jerome Strong. Further survivors include his parents Jerome George Strong and Kathy J. Strong and three sisters; Lanna Richards, Shannon (William) Hanna, and Rebecca Strong The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 3rd from 5 - 9 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Rd) in Warren, followed by his Memorial Service at 7:00 pm. Reverend Fr.
