Kristofer M. Paluch, age 24 of Clinton Township, died Friday, July 22, 2011 at home. Kristofer was born on February 25, 1987 in Phoenix, Arizona, the son of Stanislaw and Halina (nee: Miller) Paluch. Kristofer and his family moved to Michigan when Kris was only three years old and they first resided in Eastpointe. Later the family resettled in Clinton Township where Kris would spend the rest of his life. Kristofer was a student at Disney Elementary and later Richards Middle School. It was during his middle school years that Kristofer developed an affinity for the United States Navy when Kristofer was 12 years old he joined the United States Naval Sea Cadets, and continued to serve until he was 18 years old. While at Fraser high school Kris enjoyed playing guitar and formed a band. He loved all music from heavy metal to classical. Following high school Kris aspired to become a journeyman electrician and attended ABC Electrical Trade School, while being employed by General Motors. He eventually wanted to work in the skilled trades area for GM, but secretly Kris had a passion for cooking and wished he himself could be a Top Chef. Kris first worked for General Motors Powertrain Plant in Warren and later worked in Flint. When Kris was not working he was a very intriguing and eclectic young man. He favored making his own chainmaille garments and jewelry. The focus and dedication to detail when making chainmaille defined Kris. Kris would share his hardwork chainmaille goods with his friends. He also made his own pyrotechnic and firework displays. However the foremost legacy that Kris leaves behind is his deep compassion for others before himself. Kris would go without for himself to provide for another less fortunate individual. Primarily it was young less fortunate children that touched Kristofers heart. Kristofer was the cherished son of Stanislaw and Halina Paluch, and the dearest brother of Jennifer (Ryan) McCall. He is the loving uncle to Alexis, Ava, Asher, and Abram. Kris is also survived by many loving relatives and friends. Kristofer will lie in state on Wednesday from 9:00am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:00am at St. Ronald Catholic Church, 17701 Fifteen Mile Road in Clinton Township. Officiating the liturgy will be Msgr. George Miller. Arrangements were entrusted to the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home in Warren. Please share memories of Kristofer at his guest book.
