Leah Marie Owens

Leah Marie Owens, age 16 of Macomb and Richmond, died suddenly Tuesday, January 18, 2011 as a result of an automobile accident. Leah was born May 29, 1994 in Royal Oak, Michigan the daughter of R. Doug Owens and Donna (nee: Thomas) Owens. Leah was raised in Richmond and was currently attending her junior year at Richmond High School. During Leahs freshmen year she played softball and was very social. One of her favorite activities was just hanging out with friends. She will be forever missed by her cherished friends Lyndsey Girten, and Paul Blaga. Leah was the loving daughter of Doug (Cathi) Owens, and Donna Owens. She is the dear sister of Michael Desmyter, and the beloved granddaughter of Imogene (Don) McLeod, and Everett Thomas. Leah was the dearest niece of Greg (Linda) Owens, Patty Schkade, Linda Fritz, and Brenda (Tim) Fritz. She is also survived by many loving family members and friends. Visitation for Leah will be Sunday from 3-9 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Road) in Warren. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday 11am at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in White Chapel Cemetery in Troy. Memorial donations are appreciated in Leahs memory to her family.
