Leo A. Swartz, age 49, of Warren died Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at St. John Macomb Oakland Hospital Macomb Center. He was born December 10, 1961 in Detroit the son of the late Leo and the late Rose (nee: Jaskulka) Swartz. Leo enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved to be around people and touched their lives in many ways. He also brought out the best in the people that he met. One of his favorite things to do was crafts. His family would like to give a special thank you to Macomb Family Services for many years of care. He is survived by his sisters, Rosemary (John) Karkosak and Diane Perreman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation for Leo will be held Sunday 2-9 pm with a 6 pm Scripture Service at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Road). He will lie in state Monday 9:30 am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:00 am at St. Teresa of Avila St. Dorothy Campus. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.
