

Lee K. McLeod ,101, of Roseville, Michigan, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2025. Born February 14, 1924, in Detroit, Michigan, Lee lived a full and meaningful life devoted to his family, country, and community. Lee was preceded in death by his beloved wife Dorothy and by his son Rick. Lee proudly served in the United States Army during World War II as a Corporal in Troop A 43rd Cavalry Reconnaissance Squad. He was wounded twice during his service in Germany, demonstrating the courage and dedication that would define his character throughout his life. After the war, Lee built a successful career with Chrysler Plant Protection, from which he retired in the late 1970s.
Dorothy L. McLeod passed away on December 9, 2023, at the age of 95. Born September 29, 1928, Dorothy was also a Detroit native who shared Lee's values of family, faith, and community. Together, Lee and Dorothy created a loving home in Roseville, Michigan, where they raised their four children: Chet (married to Mary), Mary Jo Brown (married to Larry), Rick (married to Nancy), and Jeff (married to Leslie). Lee and Dorothy have 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Lee and Dorothy moved to Florida in 1977, where they enjoyed their retirement years before returning to Roseville to be closer to family.
Throughout their lives, Lee and Dorothy created dear friendships with neighbors wherever they lived and were active members of the Catholic parishes where they worshipped, finding strength and community in their faith. Lee's legacy lives on through his family and the countless lives he touched with his kindness, service, and unwavering devotion to those he loved.
