Lillian M. Susalla

Lillian M. Susalla, 95, of Grosse Pointe Woods, died Sunday, April 13, 2008 at Autumn Woods Health Care Facility. She was born January 16, 1913 in Detroit the daughter of the late Peter and the late Catherine Loch. Lillian was a candy striper to learn what she could learn. She enjoyed crocheting, painting, and sewing wedding gowns. She loved her family dearly. Lillian and Alphonse Sr. owned their own jewerly store with the help of their late son Paul, Susalla Jewelers. Her family said she was the best grandma in the world! She loved her family from the moon to the sky and back again. She is the beloved wife of the late Alphonse Sr. whom she married April 13th. The dear mother of Alphonse (Hanna), Ardys (Nicholas) Petrovich, and the late Paul (Nell). The loving grandmother of Michel (Lisa), Chontelle (Scott) Mayer, Scott (Molly), Linda (Hans) Brieden, the late Little Nick, and David (Harmony). Great grandmother of Kyle, Kayla, Alex, Adam, Hans II, Ashley, Stewart, and Harry. A memorial service will take place at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to the D.S.
