What a sweetheart! Linda was always trying to be helpful to everyone she meet, especially her family. She readily accepted her sisters-in-law and brother-in-law and all of those who were part of our family. Linda will be missed!

My sister-in-law, Linda, was so sweet and loving to all. She accepted everyone for who they were and encouraged them to be themselves. She will be sorely missed.

Linda loved all her animals especially her dogs that she rescued from people that did not want them anymore,I will always treasure this story,When Linda was about 3 years old,we had a dog named Prince,one saturday Lindas mother fried up two chickens for a Sunday picnic.On Sunday morning I woke to find Linda up already,I looked and there was just 1 chicken leg left in the refridgerator I asked Linda what happened to all the chicken, she said prince was hungry and feed him. The dog ate all but one small piece of two chickens,I guess he was hungry.She sure did love her dogs.

As I read the tributes to my mother, I am reminded of her free spirit. She had a true "Heart of Gold". She was a guardian of animals. She held family in the highest regard. She was sincere. She was tender. She was honest. She was compassionate. She was intense. She was a daughter. She was a sister. She was an aunt. She was a cousin. She was a grandmother. She was a voracious reader. She was a poet. She was a mechanic. She was a romantic. She understood the misunderstood people of this planet. She was gracious. She was complex. She was my mom and I wouldn't have it any other way.

As I write this, I am thinking of Aunt Linda's hearty laughter! Along with that I will always remember her as a kind, helpful, generous and loving person who always had a smile and made you feel comfortable. She always had good advice and a great story to tell. My Aunt Linda was talented and creative and I will miss her dearly. I always looked forward to seeing her at the family functions and am now looking forward to the day when I can see her again.

Aunt Linda always made me feel welcome whenever I saw her. Every time I saw her she'd tell me that I was her favorite nephew and talk about how much she loved my long black hair. She always followed that up with a big, sloppy wet kiss on the cheek and told me that she loved me. That's how I will remember my Aunt Linda. I love you Aunt Linda.

You and your family's have been in our prayers since we heard of the passing of your sister. May God bless and comfort you during this very hard time.

Some of you who knew her well might think that is a bad thing; but if that is what you think, then I guess you didn't know her that well after all. She guarded a heart of gold with an iron exterior.
