Lois K. Spravsow

Lois Kay Spravsow, age 74 of Sterling Heights, died Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Shelby Nursing Center in Shelby Township, Michigan. Lois was born June 30, 1935 in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of the late Frank Jackson and the late Lois (nee: Howdyshell) Walden. Mrs. Spravsow was raised in Detroit and graduated from Commerce High School in Detroit. During her schooling Mrs. Spravsow worked for Kmart Corporations Co-Op program and later worked for over 20 years until retiring from Kmart World headquarters in Troy as an executive secretary. Mrs. Spravsows time away from work was spent with her husband and daughter at her home. She enjoyed taking care of her pets, tending to her yard, and sewing clothes for her daughter. Also she and her husband enjoyed traveling throughout the United States. Mrs. Spravsow is survived by her beloved husband Donald Spravsow, and her dearest daughter Jenny (Jeff) Sigelko. She was the sister in-law of Mary Jane (Alva) Reckling, and is also survived by many loving relatives. Visitation for Mrs. Spravsow will be held Thursday from 2:30-9 pm, at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Rd. at Common (12 Mile). Funeral Services will be held Friday 11am at the funeral home.
