Lois was a devoted educator and spent many years as a dedicated teacher in Eastpointe, where she inspired generations of students with her wisdom, patience, and unwavering commitment to learning.
A proud alumna of Ferris State University, Lois earned her bachelor's degree before going on to receive her master's from Wayne State University. Her lifelong pursuit of knowledge was evident not only in her professional achievements but in her adventurous spirit and love of exploration.
Lois had a deep love for sports—especially golf and baseball—and spent countless joyful hours on the green or cheering from the stands. She and her cherished partner, Mary Ann, traveled the world together, collecting memories, sharing laughter, and embracing new cultures with open hearts.
Lois will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and her passion for living life to the fullest. Her impact on those around her—students, colleagues, friends, and loved ones—will be felt for years to come.
