

Loretta Boggia of Warren, Michigan, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on November 8, 2025, at the age of 102. Born on September 27, 1923, in Parisville, Michigan, to her late parents Joseph and Bertha Gwisdalla.
Loretta was the beloved wife of the late Ted Tylinski for 17 years and the late Art Boggia of 12 years. She was the cherished mother of Margaret “Peggy” Tylinski and the late Daniel Tylinski, and dear sister to her 4 late siblings Norman, Margie, Richie, and Dolores. Loretta was a mother at heart to her niece, Denise Gmeiner, and a grandma at heart to her great-niece, Brittney Gmeiner. She leaves behind many other loving nieces, nephews, family members, friends, and her devoted canine companion, Tobey.
Loretta found joy in life’s simple moments. She enjoyed doing the dishes, often reminding her family, “That’s my job.” She loved word searches, solitaire, and poker. Loretta was a hard worker, and after the passing of her first husband, Ted, she dedicated herself to providing for her family with strength and grace.
She will be remembered for her kindness, resilience, her beautiful smile, and the love she shared with all who knew her.
The Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 31555 Hoover Rd, Warren, MI 48093. Instate will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by the Mass at 11:30 a.m.
Committal prayers will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan.
