Lorraine B. Probst

Lorraine B. Probst age 82, passed away surrounded by her family on December 9, 2017. Lorraine had a passion for horticulture and floriculture, eventually leading her to a teaching position with Warren Consolidated Schools as the Horticulture Teacher, where she taught for over a decade. Lorraine was a member of the Red Hat Society, St. Catherine's Catholic Church, and was Vice President of the Warren Society of Arts for many years. Lorraine was a vibrant and loving woman,...always ready for fun and adventure. She loved to travel, especially with her family; taking cruises, visiting Atlantic City, and even touring Europe. Lorraine and Bob wintered in St. Petersburg, Florida for over 26 years and enjoyed just as many summers at Hubbard Lake, Michigan. She was an award-winning artist who had a natural talent for crafting. Lorraine painted many oil paintings, in addition to making beaded jewelry and creating stained glass. Her artistic focus and love were creating work with flowers due to her passion and love of flowers.Lorraine was the beloved wife of over 61 years to Robert Probst. She was the cherished mother of Teri (Tom) Gordon and Linda (Charles) Perry. Lorraine was the loving grandma of Crystal (Ryan) Bruza, Shannon (Matthew) Luft, Elizabeth Cheyne, Kyle Gordon, Jessica Gordon and Chris (Shannon) Gordon, CJ (Meghan)Perry, Alex Perry, and Great-grandma of Alexis, Ella, Charlotte, Jackson, Landon, Dustin, Davin, Elliana and Evan.Visitation for Mrs. Probst will be held on Tuesday, December 12th from 4-8 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile) in Warren. Mrs. Probst's Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, 11:00 am at the Funeral Home with Lorraine's family receiving guest from 10:00 am until the time of the service.Memorial donations are appreciated to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org Please share memories of Mrs. Probst at her memory book above.
