Lottie Jenny Orlikowski, age 98, died Sunday, November 8, 2020 at MediLodge Nursing Home in Milford, Michigan. Lottie was born June 18, 1922 in Detroit, Michigan, daughter of the late Charles Cieliczka and the late Catherine (nee: Nical) Cieliczka.
Lottie was raised in Detroit where she also attended school and later finishing school. Following her education, she eventually married the love of her life, Benny Orlikowski. She and her husband moved into the home where her mother had resided in Warren, Michigan. The couple continued to live in Warren and raise a family together.
Lottie enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. She kept her home immaculate and cared for her children while they were young. Later into the retirement years, Lottie cherished all her time spent with family and grandchildren. When provoked by her daughter and son-in-law to travel, Lottie and Benny visited Niagara Falls, Tennessee, and Mackinac. She will be fondly remembered as a kind and loving mother, as well as a devout Catholic.
Lottie was the beloved wife of the late Benny Orlikowski and dear mother of Ben (Diana) Orlikowski, Marianne (Ron) Leslie, and Robert (Kathy) Orlikowski. She was also the cherished grandmother of Jason (Zelia) Orlikowski, Ron (Julie) Leslie, Benji (Kim) Leslie, Tiffany (Keith) Brewer, Kate Orlikowski (Jordan Romp), and Emily (Bobby) Mida. Further survivors include nine great-grandchildren and many friends over the years. Mrs. Orlikowski was predeceased by her parents and five sisters.
