Louis was a longtime resident of Warren. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and the community he cherished. Louis was married to his beloved wife, Cindy, for 42 years. Together, they shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and adventure. Louis was a devoted father to his sons and adored his grandchildren, whom he cherished above all else.
A passionate golfer, Louis spent countless hours on the course and loved the camaraderie it brought. He was also very active in his sons' sports, always there to support them and be their biggest cheerleader.
For many years, Louis owned and operated Louis Kelsey Bail Bonds Agency, where his knowledge, compassion, and sense of humor made him a trusted figure in the community. He was a proud member of the F.O.P. Lodge #124 and enjoyed snowmobiling with his police officer friends and hunting with family and friends, forging lifelong bonds and timeless memories through shared passions.
Louis had a larger-than-life personality. He was known for his infectious laugh, his generosity, and his ability to make everyone around him smile. Whether on the golf course or at a family gathering, Louis brought joy and warmth to every room he entered. His spirit was one of a kind—unforgettable, vivacious, and always seeking out the next moment of fun. His legacy of kindness, laughter, and generosity will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Louis was the beloved husband of Cindy. Loving father of Louis A. (Amanda) Kelsey III and Nick (Christy) Kelsey. Adored grandfather of Alexis, Lola, Louis IV, and Jack Kelsey. Dear brother of Patricia (the late Thomas) Gietzen and Beverly (Ronald) Stanley. He was predeceased by his siblings Barbara Collin and Raymond Kelsey. Louis is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
