Born in Detroit to the late Michael and Anna Wolfbauer, Lucy was a kind, giving woman with a devoted love for the Blessed Mother. Lucy was a member of St. Malachy Catholic Church, St Rene Goupil Catholic Church, and Assumption Grotto Catholic Church throughout her life. No matter what challenges she faced in life, she never lost sight of the importance of counting her blessings. Lucy could always be found at her trademark spot on the front left pew intently listening. An inspiration to many parishioners at St. Rene Goupil Catholic Church for her devotion to her faith, Lucy had a knack for growing most anything and had a statue honoring the Blessed Mother in her lush garden. Lucy was proud to care for her family and loved them more than anything. She remembered fondly the years playing bingo with her husband Thomas, birthdays, holidays, and any occasion where she could celebrate the achievements of the family and friends. One year Lucy took a trip with her daughter and their children to Florida and they went to Disney World together; she often recalled the trip as one of her favorite vacations she went on in her life. A woman with a quick wit and a lot of spunk to match, Lucy was someone everyone wanted on their side. She stood up for others, her beliefs and was a friend to all. A beloved wife, mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister, aunt, godmother, and dear friend, Lucy will be missed by all who survive her.

Loving aunt of Sharlene, Nancy, and a multitude of nieces and nephews. Devoted godmother of Yvonne. Also survived by her longtime close friends who were also like family to Lucy, Fr.
