Lynn Marie Christel (nee: Jenuwine) age 59 died Saturday July 5, 2008, at Providence Hospital in Southfield. Lynn was born May 31, 1949 at Holy Cross Hospital in Detroit to her parents, Elizabeth Betty (nee: Walters) and the late Lee Jenuwine. Lynn was a lifetime resident of Warren, graduating high school in 1967 from Warren Cousino High School. She married Roger Christel in 1970 at St. Anne Catholic Church and would later become a homemaker. Lynn loved her time at her home in Warren, gardening and taking care of the home and yard. She also loved her time spent at her home on Harsens Island in the summer or at her home in Florida in the winter, walking the beaches of Siesta Key, and shelling with her family. Lynn always stayed very active, and anytime a friend was in need, Lynn was there to lend a helping hand. Also Lynn loved sports not only to watch her favorite Red Wings or catch a football game, or the Detroit Pistons, but she also played golf and tennis, and was a member of Gowanie Golf Club. Simple things in life made Lynn happy, shopping with her daughter, listening and singing old Bob Seger songs, watching and playing with animals, or just spending time with family and friends. Lynn is survived by her husband Roger Christel. She is the loving mother of Dawn (Tim) Hill. Beloved daughter of Elizabeth Betty and the late Lee Jenuwine.
