Margaret Cardamone

Margaret Cardamone (nee: Rieli) age 93, passed away Monday July 26, 2021, at her home in Sterling Heights, Michigan.   Margaret spent her final days in hospice care surrounded by family members whom she dearly loved.

Margaret was born in in Kelayres, Pennsylvania on July 3, 1928, the daughter of Cosimo and Frances Rieli, the youngest of 10 children. She was a beloved and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, wife, sister, aunt, and friend.

Margaret was married for 71 years to her loving and devoted husband, Emil Cardamone. Together she and Emil raised seven wonderful children.

Margaret greatly enjoyed traveling the U.S. and Europe.  Additionally, she loved the outdoors, gardening, and bird watching. Most of all, she loved being a stay-at-home mom, taking care of her family and hosting numerous family events.

Besides her beloved husband Emil, Margaret was the dear mother of Charles (Gloria) Cardamone, Karen (Ronald) DeClark, Richard Cardamone, Raymond (Carlee) Cardamone, Marian Cardamone, Roger (Laura) Cardamone, and the late Nancy Cardamone.  Cherished grandmother of 13 grandchildren: David, Ryan, Michael, Jamie, Christopher, Elizabeth, Martin, Morgan, Kyle, Sam, Jessica, Anthony and Marco; and 4 great-grandchildren: Piper, Bazil, Jesse, and Zepplin.

Visitation for Mrs. Cardamone will be held Thursday July 29, 2021 from 3-9pm with a 7pm Funeral Service at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ½ mile).  Officiating the Funeral Services will be Reverend Lou Vitto.  Interment Friday 10am at Resurrection Cemetery.
