Margaret Mary Fehir, age 89, of Warren, died at home Tuesday, December 13, 2011.Mrs. Fehir was born August 20, 1922 in Center Line, Michigan the daughter of the late Walter and the late Viola (nee: Berg) Christel.Margaret worked 35 years for Chrysler as a press operator. She was also very active with the UAW in which she worked as a secretary. She had a great love for people and loved helping others when she could. She was described by her family as being 'The Rock of the Family.' Not only did she enjoy here family and friends, but loved planting flowers and playing scrabble and pinnocle.Margaret was the beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Fehir. She was the loving mother of Joseph (Goldy), Richard and the late Joanne Wojciechowski. Sister of the late John, Walter, and Raymond Christel, Virginia (James) Paul, Rita Trombley, Marie Vohs. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.Margaret will lie in state Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 9am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10am at St. Sylvester Catholic Church.
