

Marie Ann Dodge age 60 a resident of St. Helen Michigan and formerly of Warren died February 12, 2013. Marie was born May 25, 1952 in Detroit Michigan the daughter of the late Fay and Donald Turner.Marie was raised in Hazel Park and following her schooling went to work at the Hazel Park Harness Horse Racing Track as a server in the restaurant. Marie would work at the Hazel Park Race Track for over 26 years and later went to work for Firenze's Restaurant in Warren where she served patrons for over 17 years before retiring.When Marie was not working her family was the center of her world. Whether she was attending one of her son's sporting events when they were young or attending her granddaughter's dance recitals or grandsons sporting events. She cherished the little things in life such as cuddling with her grandson Zachary. She also loved camping and going on the family vacations or just catching up with family and friends over a cup of coffee.When Marie's health allowed she enjoyed bowling, and getting out shopping with her daughter. She also ran her luck at the casinos… some good days others just fun. Later in life she and her husband Bill enjoyed their time in St. Helen Michigan relaxing and spending time with her dog Chloe.Marie is survived by her loving husband William whom she married in 1980. She is the loving mother of David (Andrea) Siwicki, Amanda (Leonard) Zakoor, Stacy Dodge, David (Nicole) Dodge, and the late Frankie Siwicki. Mrs. Dodge was the cherished grandmother of Briana Siwicki, Ryan McMillan, Zachary Zakoor, Olivia Zakoor, and Jessica Dodge. She is the beloved sister of Donna Love, Lee (Don) Holden, Patricia (Lawrence) Pittman, Linda (Michael) Seabright, Jackie Turner, Ricky (Mel) Turner, and the late Helen Turner, and the late Ernie Turner. Also surviving are many loving family members and friends. Marie was predeceased by her parents and also her in-laws William and Geraldine Dodge.Visitation for Mrs. Dodge will be Thursday from 3-9pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ½ Mile). Funeral services will be held Friday 10am at the Funeral Home. Officiating the Funeral Services will be Rev.
