

Born on January 25, 1947, in Halsted, Minnesota, MariLynn was the cherished daughter of the late Leonard and Jean (née Burd) Jacobs. She shared a beautiful love story with her beloved husband, Timothy, with whom she spent more than 57 wonderful years of marriage after they were united on July 6, 1966. Together they built a home filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to their family.
MariLynn was the loving mother of Douglas (Kelly), Wayne, and Martin (Mindy) Jacobs. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Jason (Alyshia), Kristina (Tyler), Steven (Ashlei), Jessica (Keagan), Nicholas, Andrew, Justin, and Breanna (Jake). Her greatest joy continued with the arrival of her treasured great-grandchildren: Sawyer, Emery, TJ, Cain, and Amira, each of whom brought an immeasurable amount of happiness to her life. She was also the dear sister of the late Maureen (Bill).
A gifted and creative soul, MariLynn found peace and fulfillment in crafting, particularly through the art of needlepoint. With patience and remarkable attention to detail, she created beautiful handmade pieces that reflected both her talent and the love she poured into everything she made. She also loved to travel, finding delight not only in grand adventures but in the simple pleasures of exploring local museums, strolling through zoos, and taking peaceful country drives to admire the changing seasons. She appreciated the beauty in everyday moments and enjoyed sharing those experiences with the people she loved.
MariLynn also had a well-known sweet tooth and never passed up the opportunity to enjoy her favorite desserts and sweet treats. Whether it was sharing a piece of cake with family, enjoying a favorite candy, or indulging in a special dessert, these simple pleasures always brought a smile to her face.
Above all else, MariLynn's greatest pride was her family. She celebrated every accomplishment of her children with a mother's unwavering encouragement and found her greatest purpose in being a grandmother and great-grandmother. Her grandchildren were truly the center of her world, and she treasured every opportunity to spend time with them, creating memories they will carry in their hearts forever.
MariLynn will be remembered for her gentle spirit, creative hands, quiet strength, and the unconditional love she gave so freely. Her legacy lives on in the family she adored, the traditions she created, and the countless lives she touched through her kindness, warmth, and steadfast love. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were blessed to know her.
