

Pat was born April 08, 1926 in Detroit, Michigan, Marion Patricia Allen, the daughter of the late Floyd Allen and the late Marian (nee: Gamble) Allen. She was raised in Detroit and graduated from the 1944 Charter Class of Dominican Catholic High School. Pat was a lifelong Eastsider; she was married in 1950 at St. Clare of Montefalco Catholic Church and later became an active parishioner of St. Matthews Church for the next 30 years. She raised her children on the eastside and eventually she and husband moved to Warren where again she would become an active parishioner at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church. Pat was a member of the Active Christian Womans Club and also instrumental in developing and helping with the Christmas Arts and Crafts event. When Pat was not at her church, time at home was spent reading novels, knitting afghans and cross stitch, or making Christmas stockings for just about anyone she met. She and her husband also loved to travel to many places in the United States and made many trips to London and Europe traveling aboard the Concorde Jet or on the Queen Elizabeth II. Pat also had a passion for shopping... while her favorite store in London was Harrods, and when in Chicago it was shopping Michigan Avenue, the Miracle Mile. Along with traveling Pat enjoyed fine dining and a wonderful glass of wine. When she and her husband Frank went out locally it was to their favorite restaurant Andiamos. Pat and Frank made many many friends along the way and Pat will be missed dearly by all who knew her. Mrs. Dulapa was the beloved wife of Frank for 60 years and the loving mother of Judy (Bob) Kiessel, Tim Dulapa, Mary Pat (Rick) Benton, Tom (Sheila) Dulapa, and Michael (Dana) Dulapa. She is the loving grandmother of Jennifer (Eric) Marsman, Elizabeth (Mark) Zimmerman, Christina (Joe) Potkay, Angela, Mark, Jaclyn, Zachary, Tommy, Sarah, Danny, Molly, Patrick, Brian, Darcy, Kiley, and great-grandmother of Tori Marsman. Mrs. Dulapa was the dear sister of Tom (Lou) Allen, Mike Allen, and the late Floyd Jr. and the late Don Allen. She is the sister in-law of Shirley Allen. Visitation for Mrs. Dulapa will be Sunday from 2-8 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 Mile Road), with a 7pm Rosary. Mrs. Dulapa will lie in state on Monday at 11:00 am until the time of Funeral Mass at 11:30 am at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 31555 Hoover Road in Warren. Celebrating the Funeral Liturgy will be Rev. Fr. Roman Pasieczny. Interment will be Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township. Please share memories of Mrs. Dulapa at her guest book.
