Mary Ellen Bubalo

Mary Ellen Bubalo, age 93 of Warren, Michigan, formerly of Columbus, Ohio, died Saturday, October 04, 2003 at Evangelical Home of Sterling Heights, Michigan. She was born January 01, 1910 in Chilson, Michigan the daughter of the late Rural Jesse Alden and the late Mary (Kilkenny) Alden. She is survived by her son George E. (Mary C.) Bubalo, of Worthington, and Anna Marie Howard of Warren, Michigan. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Bill, Julia, Charles, Deanna, Nancy, Kathleen, Joan, John, Patricia, and Paul, and eleven great grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband George, and her mother and father. Also her son in-law the late John Howard. Mrs. Bubalo was born and died in Michigan, however in her early years she resided in Toledo, then moved to Athens, Ohio where she attended Ohio University. Finally for the majority of her adult life she resided in Columbus, Ohio. Mrs. Bubalo retired from the Ohio Department Bureau of Motor Vehicles as a statistician. She was an avid bowler who cherished her family and grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday from 5-9 pm at Schoedingers Worthington Funeral Home. Closing prayers will be Tuesday 9:45 am at the Funeral Home, followed by Mass of the Christian Burial at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 10:15 am. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery.
