Mary Helen could often be found on the bowling alley and was a member of the Special Olympics throughout her life with her family, especially her parents, always there to cheer her on. Mary Helen had a love for life and some of her favorite pastimes were dancing, coloring (her favorite color was green), and whenever she got to get her hair done. Everyone cherished the times spent around the holidays when the family would be together; the highlights for Mary Helen were Halloween and Christmas.
