Mary Jane Corky Kachel, 94, of Warren, died on Wednesday, July 14, 2010. She was born on June 14, 1916 in Detroit, a daughter of John and Anna (Machalska) Ziaja. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Delphine (Thomas) Gawel, Donald T. Hull, George Brzezinski, Catherine Callender and Joyce Kuklewski; and, sister-in-law Katherine Brzezinski. She was predeceased by her husband, Stanley Kachel in 1992. A funeral mass will be held at 9:45 am Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at St. Sylvester Church, 11200 Twelve Mile, Warren. Interment will take place at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy. Visitation is 4 9 pm Monday at the funeral home, and at the church on Tuesday from 9 am until the time of service.
