Mary Ellen Marsolais

Mary Ellen Marsolais (nee Vogt) beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend to all who knew her, sadly passed away, on July 23, 2022, at the age of 92. She was an amazing wife and mother, who was always there to guide her loved ones through life's challenges and to provide sage advice. We will always remember her for taking the time to stop and say hello, and to chat with all she met and knew along her journey through life. She made you feel important, no matter the place, or the time, whether it was in line at the grocery store or after church in the vestibule.

She was born to Berthold K. Vogt and Erna H. Vogt (nee Sanft) in Flushing, Long Island, NY on April 30, 1930.

She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur E., her brother B. Richard Vogt, daughter Charmaine M. Frasard and her granddaughter Melissa M. Frasard.

She is survived by her children Michele R. (Rodney K.) Robison, Richard A. (Laurie A.) Marsolais, Suzanne L. (Mark A.) Wallace, Marianne J. Marsolais and Michael T. (Christine D.) Marsolais. Nephew David B. Vogt and his daughter Alexandra. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Friends may visit the AH Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road on Wednesday July 27, 2022 from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. with a 12:00 P.M. service also at the funeral home.

Mary Ellen will be laid to rest at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy following services.
