Mrs. Plachta was born in Westfield, MA, in 1914. She died Febraury 20, 2007 in Shelby Nursing Center at the age of 93. She is survived by her daughter, Janice (Jim) Champa; grandchildren, Eric (Ann-Marie) Champa and Brian (Allyson) Champa; great grandson, Brendan Champa; her sister, Anna Dickson and her sister in law, Mary Filo. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-9pm with a 7pm rosary recital at the funeral home. A funeral mass will be held 10 am Friday at St. Louise Catholic Church, 2500 Twelve Mile, Warren.
