She graduated from St. Rose of Lima Detroit. In Mary’s spare time she enjoyed reading. She read a tremendous amount of books of different genres, to the point of running out of options at the library. Mary also loved to bake chocolate chip cookies and make jello dishes to take to family gatherings.
Mary is the beloved wife of the late Ira John Stricker. The devoted mother of Mary E. (Joseph) Meredith. The loving grammy of Alex, Ardis, and Trevor. Dear sister of Annie (Ken) Zenor, the late Owen (Jean) Carvill, and the late Daniel (the late Kathleen) Carvill. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will deeply miss her.
Memorial visitation will be held on Sunday from 2pm to 8pm, at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, in Warren.
In lieu of flowers any donations made to the Alzheimer’s Association would be greatly appreciated.
