Matthew S. Graham

Matthew S. Graham, 31, of Warren, died Monday, May 14, 2007. Mr. Graham was employed as senior vice president of First Financial Network in Troy, where he was in charge of the firm's national insurance sales program, helping to lead the company in achieving a top position as one of the leading agencies representing SafeCo and Progressive Insurance. His family said he was the top salesman from the day he started working there. He attended St. Anne's Grade School in Warren and graduated in 1994 from DeLaSalle Collegiate High School in Warren. He attended Eastern Michigan University where he was a member of ROTC. He later graduated from Wayne State University with a bachelor's degree in business administration. His family described him as a kind loving son, brother and uncle with a warm, generous heart and a huge sense of humor. Relatives said he was well known and well liked, and will be sadly missed by his loved ones. Mr. Graham is survived by his mother, Peggy; siblings, Kevin (Nancy) Graham, Jeff (Sabrina) Graham, Siobhan Graham and Jennifer Graham; brother-in-law Randy Wolyniec; and nieces and nephews, Michael, Rebecca, Nicole, Marisa, Nathan, Alaina, Christopher and Aidan. He was predeceased by his father, Dr. John C. Graham; and sister, Lisa Wolyniec. Visitation will be Friday from 3-9pm at the funeral home. There will be a 7:30pm Vigil service Friday evening. A funeral Mass will be held Saturday, 9:30am, at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Warren with Fr. Jerry Pilus officiating. Burial will take place in Resurrection Cemetery.
