Matthew Charles Lowry

Matthew C. Lowry, age 50 of Center Line, died suddenly on Saturday, January 9, 2010. He was born in Detroit on December 30, 1959, the son of Fred and Theresa (nee: Toth) Lowry. Matt attended Lincoln High School and was part of the Class of 1978. He worked in the construction field as a Concrete Finisher. Matt loved all sports including NASCAR. His hobbies included working on and cruising in his '68 Pontiac Firebird, riding on his Harley, and singing karaoke with Pat and their friends. Matt was an excellent bowler and a member of many bowling leagues. Matt's knowledge of sports and movie history often settled many bets. He was also a lover of animals, especially the ones he shared his home with; Roxy, Nik and Fish. Matt is survived by his wife, Pat (nee: Dean). He is the loving father of Andy and Derrick. Dear son of Fred and Theresa (nee: Toth). Brother of Fred (Karen), Tom (Lori), Marty (Teresa), and Jackie (JB) Brittsan. Son-in-law of Carol Bonacci. Brother-in-law of Barb & Kevin, Sherry, Julie & Jeff, Tammy, Margie, and Traci. Matt also leaves many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed, but is now reunited with his oldest son, Matthew Jr. that passed away on February 9, 2002. Visitation for Matthew will be on Tuesday, January 12 from 5-9pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Rd) in Warren. His funeral service will be at 11:00am on Wednesday at the funeral home.
