Micah Dean Albers

Micah Dean Albers passed from this world as he slept on Sunday, May 24, 2026, in Ferndale, MI. He was born in Warren, MI on April 18, 1979, the third of three children born to Howard and Brenda (Goodrow) Albers. Micah married Melissa Elizabeth Behr on July 4, 2023. He had one stepson, Tristan Behrwojcik. He also loved his three cats, Joey, Shaggie and Foxie.

Micah leaves behind, to remember him, his wife, his stepson, his father, his brother Mark (Frances Lee) Albers and his niece, Lucy, along with aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, and one brother, Matthew Albers, as well as all his grandparents.

Micah loved video games and playing poker. He was an excellent cook. He had a soft heart for animals as well as people. He was a wonderful caregiver during his wife's illnesses. He believed in, and was trusting in Jesus for his eternal salvation, and now rests in the presence of his Savior and those who he loved that have gone on before him.

There are no plans for a memorial service or celebration of life. Those of us left behind truly appreciate your love, thoughts and prayers.
