Michael found joy in life’s simplest pleasures — a trait that made him a beacon of light to his family. His laughter was contagious, often sparked by a joke from his family or a silly noise. A lover of movies, especially Disney classics and cartoons, Michael would laugh at the very first sounds of a film. His family fondly remembers moments when Michael laughed so hard, they had to remind him to stop for a moment to breathe. Food was another great love of Michael’s. Holidays held a special place in his heart, not only for the joy of being surrounded by family but for the shared meals filled with all his favorite dishes. Michael gave the kind of hugs that wrapped around you and stayed — big, warm bear hugs. Though Michael’s time with us was far too short, his spirit leaves a lasting impression on every heart he touched.
Michael was the beloved son of Richard Brinker and Debra Klimbal, and the dear brother of Richard Brinker Jr., Jennifer (Rich) Easterly, and Holly (Bobby) Langrill. He was a treasured grandson of Daniel Collins, and a proud uncle to his adored nieces.
In honor of Michael’s life, the family asks that memorial donations be made to a charity of your choice that supports individuals with Autism.
