With hearts filled with love and gratitude, we celebrate the life of Michael—a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, faithful friend, and servant of Jesus Christ. Though his earthly journey has come to an end, we rejoice in the promise that he is now at home with his Savior, whom he loved and faithfully served throughout his life.
Michael's greatest calling was leading others to Christ. As a certified reverend, he dedicated himself to studying and teaching God's Word, with a special passion for the Book of Revelation and the hope it offers to all who place their trust in Jesus. His faith wasn't simply something he believed—it shaped every conversation, every friendship, and every opportunity to share God's love.
He found peace and joy in God's creation and loved spending time in the great outdoors, where the beauty of nature continually reminded him of the Creator's handiwork.
Michael also enjoyed a distinguished career as an engineer in the automotive industry. More importantly, he invested in people. He helped countless individuals find meaningful careers, mentored them with patience and integrity, and took great satisfaction in watching others succeed.
Above all, Michael treasured his family. He shared a loving marriage with his beloved wife, Doreen, and was a proud father to Brad and Michael, a cherished father-in-law to Amy, and an adoring grandfather to Emrys and Freya. His family was one of God's greatest blessings in his life.
Michael's kindness, wisdom, and steadfast faith made him a friend to hundreds—perhaps even thousands. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the faith he shared, and the family he loved so deeply.
Today we find comfort in the promises of Scripture:
"Well done, good and faithful servant... Enter into the joy of your Lord." — Matthew 25:23
And we rejoice in Christ's words:
"In my Father's house are many rooms... I go to prepare a place for you... I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also." — John 14:2–3
Until we meet again, we give thanks for Michael's life and rest in the assurance that he has been welcomed into the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
A celebration of Mike's life will be held at the Warren location of A.H. Peters Funeral Home; days and times to be announced.
