

Michael Richard Sprader, age 65, died suddenly on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at St. John Macomb Hospital in Warren, Michigan. Michael was born January 24, 1951 in Mount Clemens, Michigan, son of the late Norbert Sprader and the late Doris (nee: Reinhold) Sprader-McMahon.Michael was raised primarily in both the Roseville and Fraser communities. He graduated from Fraser High School in 1969, and soon thereafter started a family. Michael worked for over 20 years at Gilco Spring Manufacturing as a machine repairman, and later as a supervisor. After Gilco Corporation moved to Florida, Michael went to work for American Sound and Video, as well as other companies primarily in shipping and receiving until his retirement.When Michael was not working, the majority of his life was centered around his family. He was a passionate Detroit Lions fan and University of Michigan football fan. He was an all around sports fan who also loved playing golf and bowling in his younger days. Another passion of Michael's was to take annual camping trips with family and friends...where sitting around the campfire, telling stories, and playing cards made for some wonderful and heartfelt memories.Michael will always be remembered as having a big heart and being full of life. He was the loving husband of Kathleen (nee: Taylor) Sprader, and dear father of Scott (Heather) Sprader, Christopher (Kristine) Sprader, and his cherished daughter Karlee Sprader. Michael was the devoted Grandpa and "Pops" to Carson, Marilyn, Macie, Rae'Anne, Nathan, and beloved brother of Gary (Gail) Sprader, James (Margaret) Sprader, and Mark (Debbie) Sprader. Michael was also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Visitation for Michael will be held Tuesday, March 22nd from 3-9 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ½ Mile Road) in Warren. His Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, 11:00 am at the funeral home.
